Entrepreneur and art-historian

lost-relic-thiloThe entrepreneur, culture scientist and certified art-historian Thilo Holzmann has been in the art merchandising business since 1988. His experiences in the sale and marketing of historic art pieces range from “Elvis” from Andy Warhol to a fine art collection of the Ming Dynasty. Following his work with an art distribution agency in Hong Kong from 1993 to 2004, he became involved in the Berlin real-estate sector. Together with Dirk Fabarius he worked at “e-wohnen”, a specialized company focusing on innovative and future-oriented living.

“Peace to our whole Earth” – the former lost relic of DDR culture – presents Mr. Holzmanns most recent project and passion.

elvis-thiloThe piece “Single Elvis” by Andy Warhol was bought at the prestigious gallery Georg Nothelfer in West-Berlin 1978. The owner Mr. Nothelfer acquired the piece in January 1978 at the Berliner Filmfestspiele from the artist personally Andy Warhol.

The german art-collector Eberhard Dümmen bought it from Mr. Nothelfer within the same year. Currently it is safely locked in a Security House in Zurich, Switzerland and is open for sale.
